The team, led by higher education minister William Ruto, said they were ready to enter into negotiation with their opponents, only if the contentious issues were addressed. The Yes team meanwhile, continued with its campaigns, riding on the latest opinion poll boost. Jane kiyo reports.

I wonder how much of this is about enacting a fair constitution vs. a circus aimed at garnering political mileage. How many of these politicians have even read the document. It would have been far better to have people vote on the 3-4 main contentious issues separately rather than bundling them all together.
